Angel Statue

A towering guardian angel carved in white quartz and grey stone. It stands in long pleated robes with stone shoulder plates, both hands resting on the hilt of a great gold sword held point down. A gold halo floats over the hooded head, and two huge wings rise high behind it in a V, their feathers laid in rows in quartz, smooth quartz and white concrete with grey smooth stone tips. It stands on a tall stepped stone brick pedestal with a dark doorway, corner pilasters with lamps and lanterns on the top tier; a stair climbs the front between two lantern posts with lanterns hung on chains, and leafy bushes grow round the steps.
